Everyone is sick around here, so I wanted to make some chicken noodle soup. I have chicken legs. Does anyone have a simple recipe?
Take a whole or cut up chicken and boil in water. Skim off the fat. Once there's no more fat rising to the top I season with salt and pepper and add coarsely chopped celery and carrots. Onion I just slice. I add s can of chicken broth too. I dont measure the veggies, I just add till I'm happy with how it looks. Go easy on the salt and pepper, you can always add more later.
That's just the basic. Sometimes I add red or green peppers, and one friend adds garlic. Hope everyone feels better!
Ps.... Make enough to freeze so next time the bug is at the house you just have to pull it out and defrost.

I have never mad my own Chicken Noodle Soup but I'm gonna try it one day......
