I know that a lot of people are fans of Dave Ramsey but I've always been one of Mary Hunt. She's one of the first to ever help me get on track with my budgeting.

I still like her today. Some of the things in her Cheapskate books are a little out there but there's a lot of sound common sense in them that we are missing today. She teaches that the little things add up. That we need to consider needs vs wants.
