Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

Have you used FSA accounts for medical or childcare expenses? Where you set aside money from your paycheck to go towards these things, and taxes are not taken out of them? I've never done it before, but Joey is starting preschool two days a week, and thought it would be a good way to pay for it tax free. Anyone done this before?

I've never used FSAs. DH and I have pretty shitty insurance plans, but DD has a great one.

No we haven't. I've worked for a FSA reimbursement company though, make sure you have detailed receipts if you do try it.

I did and it was a godsend.  It is so much easier to never see the money and have it in that account when you need it!
