Always pick up loads in the January sales, over here (UK) we have good sales up to 75% off at stores. I get everything I can possibly think would be useful and can be stored away. If I have something specific I will scan all sites for best prices & vouchers.

Have a PLAN of what you're going to buy. Don't just buy any ol' thing because you think it might make a gift for "someone" but have no idea who for. -
I'm an online shopper. I do a LOT of comparison shopping between several sites before making a purchase.

When I do make an online order, I check with family (mom and DIL) to see if they want anything from that site as well...and we split the shipping.
