Save a little more this year by cutting out things you don't need now! Make your coffee at home, bring your own lunch, skip name brands and add it all to a holiday slush fund.
How much do you spend on coffee and lunches each week? How much can you save if you stop buying a few of these "treats" for the next three months?

I have coffee and lunches in, but I do buy pre-made from the grocery store and could save maybe $320.
by anotherhalfOctober 10, 2012 at 2:18 PMI just spent $7+ at Starbucks but I only do that about once a month.
by e.sugarbabyOctober 10, 2012 at 2:24 PMFeels like we have cut out all the extras for years but then I always read a post from someone on cm to find yet another way to save money....
We budget for Christmas all year too.....or at least buy on clearance for Christmas all year long.

Well I actually do pretty good on this one. I make coffeee at home, bring my lunch except on Wednesdays. So I usually spend from $5 - 8 on lunch. Sometimes I get a kids meal at Rightway, $3.73.

Only buy chai (not a coffee drinker) out when we have been given gift cards.
