I dunno about everyone else but my DD & SKids are super excited about Halloween - here's something fun I surprised them with for bath time last night - thought their excitement was maybe worth sharing with other CM mamas and their little ones!
Not-so-spooky swamp bath!
- Green glow sticks (dollar store)
- Bath color tabs (dollar store)
- Bubble Bath or Dawn dish soap for lots of bubbles
- Flashlights/ Camping Lantern/ Candle/ LED lights etc.
Start a bath for the kids - toss in a yellow and blue from the pack of bath tabs to tint the water green - add bubbles - get the glow sticks going and toss them in - you now have a glowing "swamp" bath! Use a couple of candles or flashlights or whatever you have (well out of reach of the tub obviously - I set ours on the back of the toilet and on the counter) to add just enough but not too much light for little ones who spook at the dark.
Hope you give it a try - so much fun! My monkeys are already asking for another swamp bath!!!
