How long did you know your spouse, before getting married?

How old were you & your spouse when you got married?

I knew him for about a year and a half before we got married. We weren't together, just friends.
We got married when I was 20 and he was 21, our 1st baby was a month old.

I knew him seven years before we married. We were both 27 when we married.

I met my husand online in a teen chat room June 2 1999. We were both 17. We dated for almost 2 years before we got married. We only met in person 4 times before getting married and the 4th time was when he came for the wedding. We got married exactly 2 years after we met on June 2, 2001. We were both 19. We' ve been married for almost 12 years now :0)

 We'd known each other for 20 years before we got married...I was 35, he was 39.

We knew each other for 4 1/2 years before we got married.  We only knew each other for 8 months before we got pregnant though. I was 26 (almost 27) and he was 29 (almost 30).  We've been married 4 years this June.

we met one saturday night at a party at his home - where i was one of the "extra" girls - i hung out with his mom most of the evening - he wound up kissing me good-night - we had never spoken or danced together all night long -

next day, he called me and asked me out that afternoon - from that time on, we were exclusive - he asked me to marry him 3 weeks later -

unfortunately, we had to wait until my daddy returned stateside (he was a career military man) and out of the country at the time we met) - so we had to wait 1 whole year and 3 months before we could be married -

he was 23 and i was 20 - we were married june 6, 1964 - and have been married 49 years - and still counting -

we had our first son 3-1/2 years after being married - today our sons are 45 and 42 and we have 5 grands - ranging in ages from 16 - 14 - 10 - 9 - 7 -
