I am doing a lot of things to save money. Anywhere from the lights in my house, freeing my credit cards in the freezer and basing my meals around the weekly ads to save money on groceries. I was wondering what others do to save money/spend less money!!!

Those are all good ideas. We stopped eating out so much and we try to turn off lights when we aren't in the room. I try to buy what's on sale too.

Treat your savings as a bill. At least 10% of your pay needs to be put away every month.

I would suggest a wholesale club (bjs and Costco or any other wholesale club) I save tons on grocery , veggies and meats, clothes ( like a pair of good jeans and blouses and Capri and even good winter war for the whole family) stationary, books on some occasions, toiletry stuff like shampoo soap, creams and OTC medicines. I save a lot of money using coupons the club sends every month, and their in store coupons. Before you make up your mind I will say you can try their one day pass just to get the feel of the club. Yes you can save a huge amount of money during holidays.
