Will you teach about the first Thanksgiving? The classic version or one more close to what some see as the truth.?
What classes are you doing?
Crafts? I love holiday crafts!

i have books from a local tourist place in Massachusetts - Plimouth Plantation. They teach the story from the native american point of view.

i don't know why the link button is always greyed out for me and I can't post active links - but here is some stuff on their website:

you can probably find the books at a local library:

This month is mostly school as usual, though we will take Thanksgiving week and do themed activities and worksheets.  I haven't started looking for them yet.  I am a procrastinator.

Here's the secret to linking. 8)

Type out what you want your link to say. I always put something like 'click me' but it can be anything. Use your mouse to highlight the words. When you do, a button right beside the Add a SweetPea button will become bold. It looks like an infinity symbol or a paper clip. Click it and a text box will appear. You copy paste the address you want to link to in the box and TA DA! A link. I didn't know how to do that for a year when I first joined. LOL

We start the month with a birthday, so we're hitting the trails today because he wants to go to the mountains.  We'll go through some history, though I don't have that together just yet, so I'm not sure what that will look like.  I've got tons of Thanksgiving stories for kids.  We're also going to practice gratitude and writing thank you notes.  Must get into the habit of music practice!!!!
