    What exactly is social studies again?

    Social Studies would encompass things like...

    Geography, US History, World History (including Ancient History), Civics, Government, and Current Events.....

    I'm not sure about Psychology, World Religions, etc.. these might also fall under social studies.

    Well, my science and social studies recommendations are Christian.

    Apologia science. 

    Rod & Staff social studies with some extra library books on topic.
