OT: How often do you move your furniture around?
July 5, 2013 at 2:40 PM

I am driving my husband nuts...lol

We moved around our bedroom furniture this morning and once we got everything moved and cleaned, I wasn't sure I liked it.  :)

Now Im contemplating moving it all back...haha

How often do you move around your furniture? Do you like change or prefer to keep things as they are?

never! Lol.  I leave furniture in the same place for years and years.

I don't move the furniture because most of it is bookcases and a pain to move all the time. I do move the books around a lot though.

I don't have any options for moving it so it stays where it is.

I like to change it up almost every spring cleaning (and some fall cleanings too!)

I move my furniture about once a month I just cant stand it all in the same place. I used to spend my Saturday nights in highschoool rearranging my bedroom lol. I call it OCD but my husband knows not to enter the house dark and begin walking because almost always he will trip on something I moved LOL.

I rearrange at least one piece about every month or so, and I swapped upstairs chairs for downstairs chairs, replaced a drapery rod, and moved two heavy mirrors around just yesterday. DH doesn't mind moving furniture, even though he is the one who does the heavy lifting, but he really doesn't like moving mirrors and artwork. Oops. We have wall holes to patch and paint a few times a year, and I usually do it, but it still gives DH a little anxiety. I think he's concerned that our walls will be nothing but spackle eventually. :P
