What are the different homeschooling methods. I have heard so many different names but never really a description of each. What works or doesn't work for you?

This is when we use, but there are so many. I spent one whole summer learning about all of them, then narrowing it down to one . I still love the classical style. I use some of it in mine still.

Charlotte Mason- which is based on using living books and has an emphasis on letting kids do everything they can themselves. It also stresses outside time and Art.

I don't know of any methods. Im new to homeschooling though. My oldest is only going into pre-k.
