When do I tell him?

My son is in K in ps but I'll be homeschooling him next year. Should I let him know before school is out or wait until summer?

Tell him now and let him know he gets to help choose some of the subjects he is going to learn about.  Then show him online what it will look like when he truly starts to home school.
