Homeschooling Moms
I'm looking for books for my first grader to read. She has a nice supply of books she likes to read on her book shelf but she needs some new material. I like ordering from the library. Can anyone recommend a book series for 1st grade girls?

We have the frog and toad books which she's read. So I ordered other books by the same author. I'll have to check out the magic school bus and arthur books see how she does with them. Thanks

We've been reading the Rainbow Magic Fairy books since she was in preschool. She loves fairies! I always read them to her. I never asked her if she'd want to read them by herself. I'll have to see how she does with them.

My daughter loved the Rainbow Magic Fairy books at the age; there are at least a hundred of them. They also having shorter chapter books that go along with the Little House on the Prairie series that were quite enjoyable too. Some other favorites were Magic Tree House and the Baby Sitter's Club Little Sister books.
