I do not teach social studies (this year anyway). We do history.
I teach both science and history daily.

I teach 2 days of science, 2 days of history, and 1 day social studies/ geography each week. I like taking extra time to do experiments or allow time for long discussions.
by Precious333February 4 at 7:51 PMWe di science, history and geography
by tiredmomfor2February 4 at 7:57 PMWe do science four days a week. Which normally includes social studies/geography. Our actual history curriculum is one day a week...plus we are forever looking up history facts to go along with our read alouds. So I would have to say four+ for history as well.

Science is 2-3 days/week, depending on the week. Some weeks we have activities or field trips as well. Social Studies (Geography, History, Current Events, Culture, etc.) is part of our Unit Studies.
