Some one wanted some extra stuff to supplement their 2nd and 3rd graders with American History.
I didn't remember the name of this show that used to play on PBS until at the library the other day....
The series is called Liberties Kids. My library had a couple of them, but not many. My kids are enjoying it today and neither of them remember it from 5 years ago when we used to watch them.
Today we are watching the one about the First Fourth of July. We read an excerpt online about Independence Day and then I popped on the video and the kids are devouring it!

We love liberty kids. My 7 year old has enjoyed this show for a few years.

Netflix has it. It used to be instant, and my kids loved it, but for some reason it's not anymore :(

We rented Liberties Kids(Boston Tea Party) from Netflix. We watched all of the series yesterday. I enjoyed it as much as the kids!
