Question about Polar Fleece material

Hi guys..

So I got a GREAT deal on polar fleece from a neighbor and I love making no sew blankets, so guess what I'm making... but here's my question

Do you wash polar fleece material before you cut and do all that stuff to it? and if so, in cold? with or without detergent?

You don't need to pre-wash Polar Fleece. You can wash on warm.

I don't wash it first. I usually wash it when it's done.

I've made blankets in flannel, for my pets but never Polar Fleece so I had NO clue..

Yeah-Flannel is 100% cotton so you need to pre-wash to allow for shrinkage.

Polar Fleece is a man made fiber so it doesn't shrink so you're fine to lay it out and cut out your project without a pre-wash.
