My 5 year old has sensory processing disorder. He cannot stand the feel of water on his face. So after running out to the van in the pouring down rain to get my sons umbrella before he would take one step off of the covered porch I thought maybe I could come up with an easy to carry bag that he could keep with him and would keep his wet umbrella from getting everything else wet. Thoughts? Ideas?

Thanks ladies. You have given me a lot of great ideas to think about too. I do think I want to make it a waterproof bag because I don't want it dripping all over the floor at school making kids slip. Hmmm...

I do not think it is lame at all. I have no idea what would work best for this project though. You could do PUL ,duckcloth,fleece or mesh but I am not sure what would be best for it. Good luck let us know how it turns out.

Simple enough - just line it with PUL. :)
