Firepit (craft of the day?)

DH and I built a firepit today! We had been talking about it for a while. My kids were so excited to help us dig and put rocks in the hole. Then they were mesmerized by the fire.
 
Soon, we are going to put a border around it (3ft out) and fill the area with river rock. But for now, I am just excited to get it together and burning!

Excellent! We want to do a fire pit when we build our circular stone patio out back, but we're going to have to wait a while.

Cool we have a fire bowl on our back porch right now but will be building a fire pit in the yard next year
