I would say it looks nice the bottom one i see were you going with this but try matching the fabric with a color thats added in there already if u can for the top. picture ,other than that i think its great !

Crayon Roll. He likes to draw and color. It is one of his stims. He chose the fabrics. But it seemed too busy to me.

As a mom to an Autistic son, I would say use it because he chose it(I know being in control is a trigger for my son. He has to be in control or it leads to a meltdown.) If it overstimulates him, then change the fabric.
