I am NOT crafty, but my Aunt loves to crochet blankets. she can knock one out in the matter of 1 Jeopardy show. What she makes though is blankets for the local pet hospital so the animals just out of surgery have something soft to lay one. the vet's say they dont care how many crazy colors it is, but they love the blankets. maybe you could pass along my suggestion for crafting?
