What about some E beads and metal spacers on eyepins in between?

Are you beading on wire or connecting eyepins? You could use eyepins and the brass rings with alternating smaller sections of E or Seed beads.

I kinda like this version. But it needs a little more-like smaller beads between the larger beads. Just my opinion.
