What are pecan chewies? Sounds delishKinda like a blondie....not for the calorie conscious, though....lol
Here's the recipe: 2 c. self-rising flour, 1- 1lb. box light brown sugar, 1 stick usalted butter;melted, 2tsp. vanilla extract, 1 tsp. butter flavoring, 2 large eggs, & 1 c. chopped pecans.
Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 13x9 baking pan; set aside
In a small bowl melt butter in microwave(about 30-45 seconds). In a large bowl, add brown sugar then butter; stir a bit then add the eggs, and flavorings. Stir until blended. Next add the flour one cup at a time, stirring between additions. Lastly add in the pecans; stirring once more until pecans are well distributed throughout batter.(*note: the batter will be kind of thick).
Spread into greased baking dish. Bake for 25 min-30 or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Enjoy!
