We dated for 4 months before getting engaged. We have now been engaged for 3 years and 7 months. lol.

We met about 5 months after I had my son, but he didn't ask me out for another month after that. I wasn't sure if I wanted to get into another relationship yet, but we started dating, off and on at first, then pretty much exclusively after that. It was over a year before he asked me to marry him (but I thought about it a lot before then!). He is so good with my son--a much better daddy than his real father ever was. We were engaged for 9 months and we got married this past August 11th! We're newlyweds! :)

4 yrs dating 1 yr engaged 11 yrs married... Had to jot that on paper yup that = 16 yrs total
And I'm only 34 2 kids house a dog a rabbit a falling down fence & a partridge in a pear tree ;) -
dated 5 years engaged one year. about to have our 9 year anniversary :)
