we never really dated. We were best friends for 3 yrs before we got engaged. As Christians, we just wanted to be sure we were following God's Will, so when we discovered we had feelings for each other, we just prayed about them and waited for God to reveal His will. Finally, one day he came over and proposed, saying he knew for months but was just waiting for the right time. We were engaged for 5 months before we got married. Been married now for 8.5 years.

We dated for 14 months, had a 5 1/2 month engagement. We probably would have stretched the engagement out a little bit longer, but he was moving across the country for his residency. Regardless of the circumstances, we would have been married inside of 2 years.

Started dating Jan 28, 2012 shortly after we started talking about marriage got, pregnant in March and got married in Sept since the judge was booked until then or it would have been in Aug. Everything happened pretty quickly but i couldn't be any happier with my decision. He is an AMAZING husband and step father to my two little ones. We are still madly in love and have a great relationship! I tell him sometimes that he's my prince charming lol
