My DH is a driller he works 2 on 2 off in ND.

I know there are a few on cafemom. I don't know about this group. I am a former military wife, but he is talking to a recruiter about going back. My exhusband was/is an offshore tankerman.  So is my brother in law.

Hello,

My husband works in the oilfield in south Louisiana.  He works 24 hour call so he's gone alot.  Usually he will leave for a week come home for 2-3 days, leave for a week, come home for 2-3 days...and the cycle rolls on.  We have been married for 6 years, but have been together for 12.  I have learned to survive this life one day at a time.
