I'm a mom of 4 and going through a divorce because of domestic violence. Its very difficult because I don't live in the home anymore, the older the children don't talk to me. Their ages are 22, 20 & 17. My youngest us 11. They are angry because of how I left. I had to wait for him to start his new job out of town in order to pack up and get out safely. Because its verbal abuse, they don't recognize it and their father tells them it isn't true. I believe he's mentally I'll and unfortunately none of the kids see that. Its been very difficult because he is not cooperative in the least as far as visitation of my youngest or retrieving my belongings out of the house. Anyone out there in a similar situation have any advice to offer?
