Hello everyone. My name is Shirley and I am new to CafeMom & this group. I join this group because I have been struggling with losing weight since I had my oldest child almost 13 years ago. I have yo-yoed for years in losing weight and now that I am 40, I have learned it isn't about dieting, it is a lifestyle change. I joined a gym two years ago and love it but I still have problem with snacking and I am trying to figure out the nutrition part of my lifestyle change like portion control and stuff like that. I have lost 40 pounds since joining the gym but I know I can lose a whole lot more once I learn about the food part of my lifestyle change. I look forward to learning from everyone.
