Just made a pot of turkey chili. In a large sauce pan I used 1 lb. ground turkey. 1/2 a large onion, and 1/2 of a green pepper. I browned all this in 1 T. bacon grease ( I keep some in the fridge). Added 4 cups chicken stock, low sodium if you have it and 1 tsp. cumin, and 1 can great northern beans drained and rinsed. Simmered for 30 minutes and to table. Yum. Salt and pepper to taste.
*If you want to, you could also put in a little hot sauce or red pepper flake for heat, but my crew doesn't do much hot.
