Hmmmmm. Well, I'm off to start the weight loss journal.  I'm hoping by recording this, that I will stay focused and motivated.  My goal for this week is to walk 3 miles on the treadmill each day.  And to stay under 1200 calories per day.  Here we go! :)

Yesterday, I made it to the gym for my walk on the treadmill.  Then, spent the afternoon painting my livingroom.  Which, I did not finish.  We have very high ceilings.  Had to get a ten foot ladder and still have to reach.  But, I'm getting there.  On the bright side, I'm using muscles I have not used in a while.  VERY SORE today! That little added bonus is quite nice.  Caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror yesterday and boy oh boy! EEK!  Should I say MOTIVATION!!! That was incentive enough to keep going!

Whew! End of another day!  Where did it go!.....I went to the gym and walked 3 miles on the treadmill. Then ran in for a quick tanning session.  And Home to paint a little more in my living room.  Which took another 3 hours.  And boy, was that a workout! I'm whipped tonight.  So, I've exercised, had my prayer time, now it's time to read in my Bible...then off to bed for a good nights sleep. :)

Good morning world! Painted again yesterday. And what a workout that was! Going to start on the dining room today as soon as I get back from gym and a quick tanning session.  I'm finding that staying busy is really good for me mentally as well as physically.  I don't have as much time to think about pointless things in life that had been weighing me down.  Metaphorically, I'm having two kinds of weight lifted off my shoulders! Feels good.

Finished painting my dining room.  Which looks fabulous. And oh, the workouts I am getting in the process.  Unfortunately, when I stepped on that little square object in the bathroom this morning, my weight was up a few pouds. :(  What's up with that?   On the bright side. My husband started this journey with me January 1 and he is down almost 9 pounds.  Good for him.  Wish I could say the same for me. But, that is ok.  I'm going to continue with what I'm doing. And hope that one day soon--hopefully....maybe....well? Guess we will see.

Well, today was a slow movin day.  I donated blood last nite and it always kicks my butt.  So, today, I spent most of the day on the couch.  But, tomorrow is a new day.  I'll hit the gym and take up where I left off .

That little square box in the bathroom was kind to me again today.  Two days at the same weight....Yay.  Just what I needed.  Now, today, I have a birthday lunch with my best friend, and Birthday dinner with my daughter.  Both, Mexican food.  But, that is ok.  I will try to make wise choices. Enjoy the celebration, and bust it hard tomorrow.
