Do you know your food?

I found a few websites that were intriguing when it came to food fraud.

It is very interesting and made me rethink my spices, tea, honey, and more.

Very interesting! I knew about olive oil, and I know it has been found in several products. The problem is that for the most part, these companies might get inspected once when they are just getting off the ground, and that's it, if that. So they can easily change things up to cut costs. It's sad. I try to buy what I can from the farmer's market, which I assume (especially with how much I talk to vendors there) that their products are more pure. It's no wonder they taste so different than store-bought versions. We get olive oil from a local press, and it's amazing.
