Healthy Weight Loss
Welcome to Day 3 of the New Year Weight Loss Challenge!
Drink to stay Healthy and Hydrated!
Drinking at least 64oz of water a day is recommended. Drinking half your body weight in ounces is preferable to keep your body hydrated. Drinking water also helps to curb your between meal cravings. But drinking water can be boring! So here are a few ways to make your water fun.
Using fresh fruits such as citrus, berries, pineapples and melons will nicely flavor water. You can also spice up your water by using fresh herb such as mint, sage, thyme, rosemary, basil and lavender. If you really want to infuse your water with flavor, you can experiment with different fruit and herb combinations. If you prefer your water plain, just adding a lot of ice makes water easier to drink. You can even freeze your glasses for that extra frosty chill!

I don't drink enough most days. Maybe one or two 16oz glasses at work. I have to have lots of ice in mine. No enhancements for mine. I have to be careful with citrus fruits because of the acid and my teeth.
I'm shooting for at least 64oz. I drank some adult beverages last night. So I will need my water today!
I drink powerade a couple times a week. Or tea. -
I am terrible about drinking water! I get really bad headaches when I don't drink enough (sign of dehydration). But for the last week or so I have cut out soda and have only been drinking water besides my morning coffee. We have a water cooler at work so that helps a lot. I have a ton of those reusable cups with the straws but I just forget to drink.
