I got called SKINNY today.. for the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE!
November 11, 2012 at 10:31 PM

I was at American Eagle today looking for some new jeans and the girl helping me was telling me about some new style they got in, she said "they looked really good on skinny girls like you..."

It was a great and weird feeling. Little did she know she MADE MY DAY! I have NEVER been thin EVER! That was the first time I have ever been told I was skinny! I have been hugely overweight since I was 5! I finally hit the healthy range recently for my weight, I still have about 15 lbs I want to lose but hearing I was one of those "skinny girls" felt pretty awesome.

So for all of you struggling, keep going! I have tried and failed many many times but I think I finally got it right this time and the weight is going to stay off for good!

I still remember the first time someone called me skinny. She was pretending to be mad and called me a skinny bitch. I was so excited! Congratulations, momma, you're doing it right!
