Healthy Weight Loss
I get awful migranes and have since I was a kid. My Dr. knows this - I get perscriptions for it, but I usually stick with excedrin because it dulls the pain enough for me to function without costing me $90 AFTER insurance, lol.
I only get them a few times a month, but they are debilitating. Like sweating, nauseated, awful.
Lately they've been happening in the middle of the night and waking me up from my sleep. It's awful. Last night it happened again so I'm just wondering if anyone else goes through this?
Usually mine are diet related (like when I cleaned up my diet and lost weight I get them less and less, and if I eat bad I am pretty prone to getting one) but can also be allergy related (like this week they have been harvesting the farms around my house and all of our noses are dry and painful and awful, fun lol)

I have horrible migraines. I also suffer with pain, nausea, sweating, and vision changes. I'm also on prescription meds for mine, but I've started using essential oils as well and it's helped my pain a lot. Lavender, Peppermint, and a blend called Past Tense I recommend using. I have more info if your interested -
yeah, i get them...maybe once a month plus right before I start. they are debilitating. they make me nauseous and all i wanna do is be in a dark quiet room.
I too feel like when my diet is more clean, they are better but I wonder if I just want to think that. For the one i get before my period, I take st john's wort a week before my period and everyday when I have it. It has reduced my migraines to only being about 4-6 hrs long vs a day to a day and a half.

Hylands makes an herbal remedy that I use and I usually take that with some Tylenol and it helps if I can catch it early. I get them related to my food choices and stress. My mom gets them horribly, and she uses other "herbal relief measures" to manage them, and that really helps her. Hers are debilitating (mine aren't there yet), where she's vomiting every few minutes and ends up in the ER needing Demerol. Do you know what foods trigger yours? You ought to log your symptoms in addition to your food log (since I know you already keep one) so you can ID triggers if you don't already know them.
I know we're going through harvest here, so lots of grape and apple stuff in the air. You can really smell the wineries- it doesn't smell as good as one might think! LOL But I do love watching it all happening on my runs. The apples smell really good!! -
that's actually a good idea. Maybe at the notes part of my food log I'll log when I get one so I can see a pattern. :)
