We really like the temporal artery thermometer.  Its quick its easy and no fights.

Leave it.   You get false positives if your kiddo has an ear infection/inflammation.  We use the infrared no touch thermometer.  It also has a food/drink setting so you can use it for other applications like checking the temp of liquids, cold food, cooking oil in a skillet, etc...  Totally worth the money

i hated the one I had..... it would never read a temp, when I knew that they had one. so i junked it.....

I had one n they are highly inaccurate so leave it.

We've never had one, but I haven't heard great things about them so we just stick to our regular thermometer.
