To me it means that it's more important to be comfortable with yourself than what you look like, beauty is only skin deep, convictions are eternal.

To me, it's about having a healthy and strong body rather than a skeletal one. I don't see anything about confidence or personal strength in that message, and in fact would find it degrading to women if that were the message.
