This month, I have 2 friends/coworkers who are celebrating 5 yrs of being cancer free! That's a big deal. Both were diagnosed at the same time with breast cancer.

My boss had a sister who had breast cancer. She found a lump while between jobs so she ignored it - she didn't want to go to a dr in fear that once insured by her new upcoming job it would be a pre-existing condition.

Something that was once treatable then became unbeatable. :(
