I did all the right things to avoid breast cancer and had none in my family.  14 year survivor.

My sister filled out the questionaire before getting her mammo,  one of the questions was do you have breast cancer in your family. I told her, you do now.

I lost my uncle Benny Maxwell to breast cancer a couple years ago. I didnt know men could even get breast cancer until my uncle got it. It was very hard for our family and were still dealing with his passing. I will always continue to support the cause.

I have a friend who found out she had it at her six week check up after giving birth. She is ok now.

If children have the ability to ignore all odds and percentages, then maybe we can all learn from them. 

When you think about it, what other choice is there but to hope?

We have two options, medically and emotionally: give up or FIGHT LIKE HELL.
