We don't do board games, although my kids have this game called "Worst Case Scenario". It's a game for survivalists and it gives tips(quizzes) on how to survive things. It's the most practical game I've ever seen and that's why we own it. I called it "Shark attack" for fun.
As for family time, we are very much a video game household. We play World of Warcraft and we play together. We also play LOTRO, EVE Online, Call of Duty(Xbox), Left for Dead 2(Xbox), etc etc.
