Successful Pregnancy after two second trimester miscarriages possible?

Hi - I have been reading lots for two years - can't find anything to support the possiblility of successful birth after two second trimester miscarriages.  I have 4 children - I have had about ten miscarriages before 10 weeks and two at 16 weeks.  Right now I am three for three failures.  Doctor says there is no exact medical reason for the miscarriages...jsut wondering if anyone has been successful after such failures.

 I didnt think it was possible to have a baby after a stillborn and a m/c but I met someone that had a stillborn and then had a m.c and went on to have 2 living children, I also met someone that had 3 second trimester losses and now has a healthy child.

So yes it is possible. I am so sorry for all your losses!!!!!!!!!! I cannot imagaine what its like to lose so many babies.

I am so sorry for your losses. I have heard many happy stories after losses. I have only jad one 2nd trimester loss..and I went on to have a healthy baby after. Good luck.

I don't see why it's not possible, anything is possible. I have 5 kids, followed by a 16 week loss, then a 9 week loss.

Have you been to just one doctor? Have you seen a specialist? Ian'sany losses as you have had, I feel like there has got to be a reason... To many coincidences. I'm so sorry for your losses.

I've only had one loss @ 16w, but two healthy kiddos before that. I believe it's possible. I'm so sorry for your losses.

I'm sorry for your losses.  I've had 6 total losses, but only one 2nd trimester loss at 15 weeks in June 2011.  I had a healthy baby girl in April 2012.  I definitely think it's possible after 2 as well.

i have 2 friends that have late loses. one at 27 wks and one at 38 wks. both have had their rainbow babies. in fact the one the had the 27 wk loss is pregnant again. so yes it is possible. dont give up

I have 4 daughters and I've had 5 first trimester losses (first three before/at 6wks, then 10w3d, 8w6d) and a 2nd trimester loss (at 17w5d on Sept 25, 2012). My 2nd tri loss was due to an infection, so hopefully this pregnancy (4w3d) will stick without issue. I really hope that you can get your little angel.

I'm really sorry for your losses. Please don't give up hope just have faith that all things are possible. My husband and I tryed 14 years and lost our angel but we are still trying after our stillborn daughter that's the only thing that keeps me from losing my sanity is hope.

I'm sorry, I also had 2 second trimester losses last year and feel like its impossible to have a healthy baby. I have 2 kids prior to my losses. The research I've done points a lot to clotting issues with second trimester losses. Have you been tested for clotting disorders? Maybe look into a second opinion, I know a lot of docs will treat you for clotting issues even if you test negative with that many losses. Good luck and sticky baby dust, I hope 2013 is the year for both of us :)
