We went from a 2 hour delay as of 6 am to now being totally closed. We are all safe and sound here but I am worried about DH being able to get home from work later. He works an hour away and will have to go through some rough roads to get back here.

They don't close school for weather unless the power is out or the roads are too icy for the buses to run. I've lived here for 4 years and have only had the schools delayed for 2 hours one time. My son missed school once in kindergarten because we lived in the country and we were snowed in.
