Parenting Positive Kids
My son, 3, was angry that we had to leave his new trains at Grandma's tonight and was crying Inconsolably. So I started singing Santa Clause is Coming To Town. he Setrled Down for A Minute but Started Up Again, Only It Was Different. Whem I asked what was wrong he said he had been crying. I did not understand until a few minutes later when, from out of the back of the car, his little voice piped up telling me he gets it. I asked what he got and he said he gets not to cry. I told him that it is okay to cry when you are sad And repeated it several times. It broke my heart that he thought Santa would be mad at him For Crying:(
