Do you teach your kids to take care of them or do you take care of them yourself?

I have a dog, ds isonly 6 1/2 months, way too young to help lol.

We have 2 dogs. My kids are supposed to feed them. But I usually end up doing it. We also have chickens and ducks. My 11 year old feeds them. He's proud to take care of them and watch them grow.

We have two outside dogs, one inside and two house cats.  He likes to help me feed the outside dogs.

We have a dog and it will be something dd will do when she is old enough to feed him.

We have a kitten and a hamster.  I take care of them because, IMO, the boys are still too young to take care of them by doing things like cleaning cages, litter boxes and the feeding.

We have a Dog,Cat,Hampster and a Ferret... Both my DS and I take care of the animals. I do it when he is with his dad and he does most of it when he is with me :)

We have a cat that I take care of bc shes mine & 14 years old. I've had her since before the kids were born.

We do have a dog that the kids take turns cleaning up after.

The girls take turns feeding them and giving them water.  My youngest dd and I walk the dog everyday together.

I scoop the little litter box. :/
