First move...help!

My husband graduates from OTS Dec 14th and we're going to be stationed at Pensacola NAS right afterwards. I remember reading something that your first move is not considered a PCS so the military won't pay for it or move you...does anyone know if this is correct?  We'd be moving from Southern CA so it's definitely going to be expensive if  we do have to move ourselves so I just want to be prepared :) Thanks!!

My husband trained at Leonard Wood and got stationed at Leonard Wood. They paid to move us when he graduated!
