    i say Merry Christmas unless it is beyond obvious that person does not celebrate Christmas.

    I try to say "Happy Holidays" since, these days I can't tell who celebrate Christmas/holidays because of their religious/cultural or personal reasons, but I have a habit of saying "Merry Christmas".

     i say happy holidays to people i dont know because i dont know if they celebrate christmas or not. i have a few friends who celebrate kwanza.

     I didn't vote because I say both, usually in response to whatever someone says to me.
