Your potatoes? My mil puts hers in the fridge I jjst keep mine in a basket out. What about onions? I think putting them in the fridge lessens the intensity when cutting.

In a bag for the potatoes, supposedly it's bad to leave them out in the light. and onions go in the onion basket on the counter.
