rethinking a fake tree

We always buy real trees for.christmas but I've been looking at these fake ones and they're looking better and more real.

Yes they are although I don't suggest a prelite tree. Never had much luck with those. We got a new tree last year the day after Christmas for $10. It's a 6 foot tree. We will be having two Christmas' this year. In December and again in February. A fake tree just makes more sense for us.

We really like our fake tree.  It is really pretty.  Not prelit.

I have a fake prelit tree -- love it.  I made sure to get a prelit tree where if one light goes out the other lights still stay lit.

We have always had fake trees.  i'm allergic to pine.  We used to go all out and string the lights on a plain fake tree, but once my brother and I were older dad switched to prelit.  My dad is giving us his old prelit tree.  I think prelit makes a lot more sense with a toddler because there will be less for him to pull off of it.  Definitely don't go with the fiberoptic ones unless it's a small one for a table.

LAst year for Our first family Christmas I bought a fiber optin 24" tree and it was perfect for us, but DS will be 18 months this year so we want a normal size tree for him.

We've had our fake tree for 10yrs now... I think it still looks great. Save a tree and money and buy a fake one!

I got a fake tree on Black Friday 2 years ago for $29 (pre-lit 6 foot) and love it its been awesome I do miss the real smell though
