I would ignore it. It sounds like a scam of some sort. Otherwise maybe a foreigner coming for a visit and needs a sitter.

Did you check out the phone number?

Perhaps it is a single father being put up at a hotel while he works a short term assignment. The job market is tough and many are separated from their families as they try to get work. I am sure that this could be verified by the company he is working for.

May be a legitimate offer, may not.

Doesn't sound right at all to me either,

Ignore it if at all possible.
    The hotel part sounds scary.
Let us know what happens :)

If you are uneasy about it, don't do it.  Better to be overly cautious.

I had several of these one time when I offered daycare. They want to know how much you want per month then they ask for bank info and we all know how that ends. Its a big scam. Hope you find some legit people soon!!!

    Was it on Craigslist?
Usually the ones who respond odd or have bad grammar are scams. When I sold a car on there I got TONS of odd responses. Most had awful grammar and weird questions.

If your iffy then ignore it
