Do you prefer to have a layaway at walmart or kmart and why?

I don't use layaway at all, so I don't really care where it is offered.

 i don't shop at walmart ever and we don't have a kmart near us, i wish we did though i love layaway

I don't go near Walmart, so K Mart by default. Haven't done lay away yet, I need to find out how much the fees are.

Right now at my local store there is no layaway fee.  Not sure if that is nationwide though or when it ends.

I would use K-Mart's but I work there so my opinion doesn't really matter.
