more than just cake

I like making cake mix cookies. Just add 1/3-1/2 cup oil and 2 eggs, drop by rounded spoonful, bake about 9 minutes at 350F.

yesterday i used a chocolate mix and made a peanut butter filling.

1 box chocolate cake mix
1/3 cup oil
2 eggs
Mix well, refrigerate an hour, roll into 1" balls, place on cookie sheet, bake at 350 for 7-10 minutes, let cool.
In another bowl, beat together 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup peanut butter, and some powdered sugar (just add a little, beat, add, beat) and a smidge of milk. Spread filling onto flat side of one cookie as thick as the cookie, top with another cookie.

Moist delicious banana cake!
3 overripe medium sized bananas, mashed
1 cake mix + whatever the mix tells you to add, MINUS 1/4 cup of water

Prepare the mix according to directions (with 1/4 cup less water remember!) and then stir in banana. Optional: chocolate chips, walnuts, etc

I topped mine with (store-bought, guilty) cream cheese frosting.

Just bumping this post because I had to go looking for it for the banana cake recipe. I'm making one today just because I have all these overripe bananas. I'm going to try a homemade cream cheese frosting too!
